Candlesticks is different - more than a Restaurant, more than a Lodge, more relaxing and refreshing than you can imagine.

A most attractive cottage style Lodge set in the grounds of the 15th Century thatched restaurant with ample parking.

Facilities approved by Southern Tourist Board, New Forest Tourism and appointed AA 2 star lodge rating.
Spacious rooms. Disabled accommodation on ground floor.

If you are looking for comfortable hotel accommodation not too far from the excitement of Bournemouth then stay in Ringwood and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the New Forest National Park. Alternatively, whilst staying in Bournemouth hotels, and exploring the wealth of outdoor activities and attractions of the New Forest, do come and enjoy excellent meals at the Candlesticks.

Ringwood is a delightful market town - nearby you may enjoy popular New Forest delights such as the famous wagon rides at Burley village, see ponies and majestic herds of wild deer, even a wild boar! Don't miss the world famous National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, the yachting marinas at Lymington, horse riding, walks along the clifftops - taking in spectacular views across the Solent to the Isle of Wight. Bournemouth and Christchurch too, with the historic Priory & Castle ruins, are handy for even wider choices of entertainment.

If your interest in the area is for Walking, Cycling, Golf, Riding or Fishing - we are pleased to advise that we can provide a secure storage area for your equipment such as Boots, Cycles, Golf Clubs, Tack & Tackle.

Owned and managed by the same caring hand since 1982

THE RESTAURANT is enchanting with a wealth of original character and Olde Worlde charm. The low ceilings with exposed old beams and open fireplaces generate a unique cosy and intimate atmosphere.

The Candlesticks is one of Ringwood's oldest buildings and enjoys an enviable reputation for its cuisine.

THE EXTENSIVE MENU is interesting, varied, with predominantly English and Continental dishes, and many of the recipes are exclusive to the Candlesticks.

Dining in the Candlesticks is a very relaxing and special experience, but surprisingly easy on the pocket as the aim of the Proprietors is to provide exeptional value for money, without compromising on quality, quantity, or choice of menu.

A recent addition, THE CONSERVATORY LOUNGE AND BAR offers an alternative choice of dishes from the restaurant menu and is ideally suited to lunchtime or early evening snacks and lite bites.

Its bright and airy environment, with direct access to the sun trap patio, is particularly popular on sunny days and evenings. This room is also ideal for private parties up to 35 guests for celebration dinners, etc.

THE CANDLESTICSK EN-SUITE LODGE is well situated for tourists, business travellers and those requiring a relaxing 2 or 3 days break at sensible prices.
You're very welcome and we trust your visit may be the first of many.

THE CANDLESTICKS PERGOLA was created in 1999 as a facility designed to offer a weatherproof arrival area for disabled guests in wheelchairs, to compliment the existing comprehensive disabled holiday accommodation provided at the Candlesticks Inn.

It also serves as an alternative summer dining facility, and is very popular with all our guests, not just the wheelchair bound.

The Pergola has now developed into a unique feature, in the warm summer evenings, the area is immersed in hundreds of flowers, soft lights and enchanting music.
